Who we Serve:

Encounter Life Church is a small congregation located in Manchester, Tennessee. ELC is a Southern Baptist Church that averages about 50 in attendance each Sunday.

What Services Were Needed:

The Challenge:

ELC’s old website was outdated and stale. The site needed a well-deserved makeover, and the logo and branding were in need of updates as well. Being a small congregation, the church didn’t rank well in Google Search results. When updating site content, they wanted to focus on SEO to better those rankings and attract new guests.

With the redesign, leadership at the church wanted to include a new online giving platform with the redesign. ELC also requested that our team handle content updates and site maintenance to keep their website up to date.

Several on our team here at Yemba are devoted members at Encounter Life Church. Just like every other church we serve, we wanted to take care of ELC well and fully address their needs. That’s where Yemba came in.

Our Process

Our team worked diligently to design a fresh, visually appealing website for Encounter Life. We worked with church volunteers to gather photos that represented the congregation and the church’s mission and vision well. We also integrated the online giving system.

We reviewed ELC’s existing content and made changes to incorporate keywords and phrases to make the site more SEO friendly. After optimizing the content, the ELC site now ranks 2nd on Google for “churches in Manchester, TN.” Our team took over the ELC site maintenance and will continue to optimize the content as needed.
